Digital Designer
Job Description
Pacific Sunwear Stores LLC is seeking an on-site Digital Designer in Anaheim, California. The role centers on concept development, visual exploration, and the final execution of design directions for PacSun.com, collaborating with Marketing, Ecommerce, CRM, and Merchandising to deliver on-brand digital design across the website, emails, mobile app, banners, and other online media.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall visual system for PacSun.com, including website updates, email campaigns, mobile app changes, banners, and other paid digital media.
- Design compelling promotional messaging with a clear typographic hierarchy and strong graphical elements.
- Apply advanced digital animation skills to enhance user experiences.
- Create designs for digital spaces with consideration for the unique constraints of web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet marketing objectives and adhere to timelines.
- Demonstrate solid foundational design skills and the ability to translate brand and design standards into digital work.
- Regularly consult with the Manager for guidance and validation.
- Solicit and assimilate design feedback; independently revise work with a high level of accuracy.
- Research and stay current with digital design trends.
- Show a willingness to learn, be a team player, share information, and contribute fresh perspectives.
- Maintain an understanding of web design principles.
- Ensure adherence to style guides, creative direction, and asset delivery requirements for web projects.
- Collaborate with the Development Team to ensure correct implementation of approved design directions.
- Ability to work independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Formal training in graphic design, typography, digital design, and/or visual communications.
- 5+ years of experience in Digital E-commerce Design and Production; in-house or digital experience preferred.
- Highly conceptual with the ability to interpret and adapt existing brands to the interactive space.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Working knowledge of the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to translate feedback visually.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to consistency.
- Team-oriented, dedicated, inquisitive, and collaborative.
- Ability to work independently.

Salary
USD 75,920 - 82,512 per year.
