Creative Director
Job Description
As Creative Director at Egnyte, you will set the brand and creative direction and ensure creative quality across all channels and product launches. This is a hands-on, visible leadership role overseeing an in-house design function while partnering cross-functionally to deliver finished creative work.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the look and feel of the Egnyte brand and ensure consistency across every touchpoint.
- Lead and develop a small in-house creative team, and add capacity through freelancers and agencies when additional skills are needed.
- Contribute directly by producing design work, setting creative direction, and delivering completed assets.
- Run the creative request process end to end, including intake, prioritization, scheduling with realistic dates, and ongoing stakeholder communication.
- Review team deliverables and provide clear, specific feedback that improves work quality and maintains brand consistency.
- Design across print and digital channels, including ads, social posts, email, presentations, eBooks and guides, video, and event graphics.
- Maintain current brand guidelines, templates, and source files so teams can create on-brand materials.
- Manage creative vendors by scoping work, tracking spend against budget, and supporting delivery timelines.
- Present creative work to marketing leadership and executives, secure decisions, and prevent projects from stalling during review.
- Report to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing.
- Travel a few times per year for company events such as sales kickoff.
- Work a hybrid schedule from a U.S. office, with in-office days set by the team.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of design experience in-house or at an agency, including at least 3 years managing designers.
- B2B technology or software experience preferred.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong finished work across both print and digital.
- Experience hiring and managing freelancers and agencies, including scoping, budgeting, and holding vendors to deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, set priorities when requests exceed capacity, and deliver on time.
- Clear, direct communication with the ability to explain creative decisions to non-designers and incorporate feedback.
- Expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Comfort designing for the web and handing off files that developers can build from.
- Experience using a project management tool such as Asana.
- Motion graphics or video editing is a plus.

Compensation
The standard base pay range across the U.S. is $170,000 - $220,000 annually plus bonus. Pay may vary by work location and can depend on job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Work Setup and Location
Remote (PST and MST time zone), with a hybrid schedule from a U.S. office. The team sets in-office days. The work setup includes Mountain View, CA | Remote (remote).
