Creative Director
Job Description
Creative Director role at ANGEL Studios overseeing behind-the-scenes creative strategy, storytelling, and community growth around TV series.
Responsibilities
- Direct and build behind-the-scenes content for TV series.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for how the behind-the-scenes story is told and how a community is built around each series.
- Write and orchestrate story for behind-the-scenes initiatives.
- Direct behind-the-scenes production.
- Supervise a cross-functional creative team including graphic designers, copywriters, social media experts, photographers/videographers, and project managers.
- Lead the strategic development of messages and deliverables across engagements.
- Prioritize work and resources across short- and long-term needs.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and production departments to establish production schedules.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate innovative, actionable creative initiatives.
- Develop initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Review and approve art and copy produced by the team to ensure deliverables address marketing goals and challenges.
- Produce fresh, innovative work that turns complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences.
- Present final concepts (or oversee presentation) and obtain approvals for deliverables.
- Build, lead, and review creative team output for web, print, and digital marketing collateral.
- Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small- and large-scale projects, combining strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales on marketing plans, analyze results, and identify opportunities.
- Develop internal marketing campaigns that translate business unit objectives into clear creative strategies.
- Analyze brand tracking, market trends, consumer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Meet budget standards by forecasting and managing expenses.
- Attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
Requirements
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English is required.
- Additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- VP of Marketing
Location and Work Setup
- On-site role in Provo, UT
- Main office: comfortable, air-conditioned environment
- Open, shared office space that can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy

Work Hours, Travel, and Physical Demands
- Regular full-time role: 40 hours per week
- Travel required: airline travel both out of state and overseas
- May need to stand for significant periods of time and/or walk significant distances while traveling or attending events
- May need to carry equipment or gear weighing up to 15-20 lbs
- Physical demand: sit or stand at a desk for extended periods

Additional Information
- Regular staff meetings: must attend and contribute
- Salary: USD 106,000 - 137,000 per year
- Education preference: Master’s Degree
- Preferred experience: familiarity with Angel, the Angel Guild, and relevant body of work (films, series, and other projects)
