Associate Motion Designer

RUN Studios LLC is hiring an Associate Motion Designer for a hybrid role in Redmond, WA. This position supports the creation of motion and media assets for a range of venues, platforms, and audiences, with a team-based approach to delivering end-to-end design work. The pay range is $36.00 to $39.25 per hour, based on qualifications and work location.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and deliver media assets for a variety of venues, platforms, and audiences
• Ensure creative assets and designs follow brand guidelines and voice
• Manage multiple projects at once by prioritizing tasks while multitasking
• Handle end-to-end design and motion asset delivery

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a media art related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills
• Prior experience with design studios, agencies, or media production companies
• Fluency with the Adobe Creative Cloud stack, with emphasis on PS, AI, and AE
• Experience creating documents for creative briefs, motion design, and style guidelines
• Strong foundational knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, typography, proportion, and photography
• Awareness of current art and design trends, creative production pipelines, and tools
• Curiosity in AI tools and technology

Bonus if you have

• Experience with 3D software
• Experience with large format multi-screen design and production for digital displays, events, conferences, and sports arenas
• Experience with UI/UX design and motion prototyping

Supervisory responsibilities: None. Physical demands: prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Travel: None.

Compensation: Pay range is $36.00 to $39.25 hourly. Final pay will be determined based on factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
