Associate Art Director / Graphic Designer - Brand Team
Job Description
JPMorganChase’s Consumer & Community Banking division supports customers through personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans, and payment processing. Within Marketing & Communications, teams shape the firm’s brand and protect its reputation, creating campaigns and servicing messages across Chase.com, the mobile app, and paid media channels.
This role partners closely with cross-functional teammates to own end-to-end visual storytelling for JPMorganChase brand campaigns and experiences. You’ll set creative direction, lead photo shoots, and build scalable design systems that help teams deliver consistent, brand-defining work across digital, social, and print.
What You’ll Do
- Direct photo shoots and social productions by developing shot lists and visual direction, partnering with producers, photographers, and directors, directing talent on set, and overseeing selects, retouching, and edits.
- Build and maintain visual identity systems and toolkits that enable consistent execution across partnership assets and channels.
- Concept and produce creative for card design, packaging, email, print collateral, publication, and other partnership-related applications.
- Apply advanced visual craft across typography, color theory, layout, and photography direction to create elevated, engaging work.
- Collaborate across teams to solve design challenges, align on objectives, and deliver cohesive creative outcomes.
- Present design decisions by articulating rationale and brand standards clearly to team members and stakeholders.
What You Bring
- 3 to 5 years of creative agency experience in graphic design, brand design, or visual communication design.
- Education: a bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and range across multi-channel deliverables (digital, print, and presentation work).
- Tool proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, including efficient file setup and organized working practices.
- Strong command of typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, and image-making or selection.
- Ability to work within brand guidelines by using templates and design systems while helping maintain them.
- Cross-functional communication skills for critiques, reviews, and stakeholder conversations.
- Quality control with high attention to detail from concept through final production files.
- Project management strengths for handling multiple projects with prioritization and time management.
- Interest in AI-enabled workflows to support design exploration and execution.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 71,250 to 100,000 per year (base salary determined based on role, experience, skill set, and location).
