Assistant Adjunct Professor - Art and Graphic Design
Job Description
The University of Northern Iowa is seeking an established designer to teach ART 3030 Graphic Design II as an Assistant Adjunct Professor for Spring 2027.
Responsibilities
- Teach one 3-credit course for ART 3030 Graphic Design II during Spring 2027
- Meet with students Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm (onsite)
- Provide course instruction through lectures, projects, and critiques
- Support intensified exploration of design-based problem solving, with focus areas including type, imagery, and layout
- Use computers extensively as part of course delivery and student work
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Graphic Design or at least five years of experience as a professional designer
Preferred Qualifications
- University teaching experience (instructor of record)
