Art Director, Print Innovation

Hasbro Inc. is seeking an Art Director, Print Innovation for its Wizards of the Coast/Magic TCG Studio in Renton, WA (onsite). In this hands-on role, you will help shape specialty print finishes and physical product design for collectible cards, partnering closely with Production Artists and print/manufacturing partners to concept, test, and deliver print-ready executions.

You will bring a creative, experimental mindset to tangible outcomes, with the opportunity to explore new visual directions, materials, and emerging print technologies. The work is tactical and collaborative, focused on quality from concept through proofs and physical samples. Responsibilities

• Contribute ideas with curiosity and a collaborative spirit to shape specialty print concepts as a team.
• Concept and pitch specialty print finishes, partnering with creatives and print suppliers to test and refine concepts into compelling, manufacturable card executions.
• Provide Production Artists with clear creative direction and constructive feedback from early concept through final production.
• Review print-ready files, print separations, proofs, and physical samples with an analytical eye to anticipate how builds will come together and support quality outcomes.
• Explore visual trends, collectible products, materials, and emerging print technologies to bring fresh ideas to Magic.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional graphic design and/or art direction experience, ideally involving physical products, print, packaging, or collectibles.
• Hands-on experience developing specialty print treatments and a strong understanding of offset printing, prepress, color separations, materials, and finishing processes.
• A portfolio showing strong visual judgment, graphic design, art direction, and physical print execution.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, plus experience preparing technically accurate print-production files.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to balance creative ambition with manufacturing feasibility and a drive for experimentation and continuous learning.

Pay range: $109,100 - $180,600 USD per year
