Job Description

Gelia is looking for an Art Director to help turn ideas into effective creative work with clarity, craft, and purpose. This onsite role in Williamsville, NY blends hands-on concepting and design with the ability to bring strategy into visuals that perform across channels.

As Art Director, you will move from early concepts through final delivery, partnering with internal teams to shape direction and execute polished design. The work spans print, digital, social, and video, with a focus on strong fundamentals and thoughtful execution.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and design across a wide range of projects
  • Collaborate closely with writers, strategists, and account teams from early brainstorming through final delivery
  • Translate strategy into creative that not only looks great, but performs
  • Bring concepts to life with clarity, craft, and purpose

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of design and art direction experience
  • A portfolio showing strong conceptual thinking and polished execution across print, digital, social, and video
  • Strong foundation in typography, color, composition, layout, and design fundamentals
  • Ability to translate brand strategy and creative direction into effective visual solutions
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Comfort adapting to new technologies, trends, and evolving client needs
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled creative tools that support ideation and workflow efficiency
  • Experience designing for digital platforms
  • Clear communication skills and openness to feedback
  • Comfort with fast turnarounds and cross-office collaboration
  • A link to your portfolio showcasing thoughtful, well-crafted work

Compensation

  • USD 50,000 - 70,000 per year
