Adjunct Faculty - Animation and Motion Design
Job Description
Regent University seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Animation and Motion Design to undergraduates on campus in Virginia Beach.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate-level instruction on-campus in Virginia Beach within the School of Communication & Arts.
- Deliver instruction across the disciplines and formats listed under Disciplines and Delivery Formats, including: 2D & 3D Animation; Character Animation; Storyboarding & Visual Development; Motion Design; Compositing; Visual Effects (VFX); Digital Modeling, Texturing, and Look Development; Lighting and Rendering; Animation Pre-Production and Pipeline Development; Cinematography for Animation; Editing and Post-Production; Visual Storytelling and Narrative Development; Interactive Media and Emerging Technologies.
- Utilize online instructional technology to support teaching and student engagement.
Requirements
- A dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning
- A record of or potential for academic scholarship
- The ability to teach undergraduate-level courses
- Facility with online instructional technology
- A willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith
Position Details

- Salary: USD 100 per hourly
