Bumble Inc. is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help lead end-to-end design for Bee AI and “Dates powered by Bee,” shaping AI-powered date experiences that are clear, safe, and trustworthy. This Austin (onsite) role focuses on building intuitive journeys across conversational and recommendation moments, with cross-functional partners from insight through to scalable impact.
What you’ll work on

- Design AI-powered conversational interfaces, including chat flows, system behaviors, and voice UI interactions, ensuring clarity, trust, and usability at each step. [Suggested]
- Define how AI-generated suggestions (including matches, prompts, and date ideas) are presented, balancing automation with user agency and transparency. [Suggested]
- Partner with Product Marketing to design acquisition and onboarding flows that introduce members to Bee AI experiences and communicate their value.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to align user needs with technical capabilities and constraints, helping set product direction.
- Prototype and validate concepts using Figma and AI-assisted design workflows (for example, Claude or similar), iterating quickly based on insights and experimentation.
- Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing to continuously improve experiences with inclusion and safety at the center.
- Drive delivery from insight to impact, using an agile mindset to adapt plans, and champion high-quality outcomes that scale.
What you bring
- Design with empathy and intention, centering diverse user needs and championing inclusive, safe experiences aligned with Bumble’s values of Respect and Courage.
- End-to-end product design experience, ideally within consumer apps, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality interaction and visual design.

- Fluency in Figma and comfort using AI-powered tools (for example, Claude or similar) for exploration, prototyping, and iteration.
- User testing and validation experience, translating qualitative and quantitative findings into clear design improvements.
- Ability to design for ambiguity, balancing experimentation with thoughtful decision-making in evolving product spaces, with an agile mindset.
- Strong collaboration and communication across disciplines, with ownership from concept to launch and beyond.

AI fluency expectations
AI is important to Bumble. Candidates who are curious and experimental, while thoughtful about how AI can amplify impact and outcomes, are encouraged. Use AI responsibly when preparing your application and do not fabricate experiences or answer questions live in interviews.
