Job Description

At Estée Lauder in New York, NY, this role supports the brand’s digital presence by shaping on-brand, mobile-first design and content across ecommerce and social-first channels. You will help translate beauty, social, and commerce trends into practical experiences and lo-fi, platform-native creative that moves quickly while staying craft-forward.

What you’ll do

Design elevated, on-brand experiences across ecommerce, including site refreshes, landing pages, product launches, promotional updates, and other digital touchpoints.
Concept and design email marketing campaigns in partnership with Online, CRM, Social, and cross-functional teams to create a connected consumer experience.
Apply a strong eye for typography, layout, imagery, and design craft across every execution.
Work with a mobile-first mindset, shaping UX, messaging hierarchy, platform requirements, and consumer behavior into clear design decisions.
Create scalable design solutions that balance high-quality craft with the speed needed for a high-volume ecommerce business.
Partner with project managers and developers to move more complex digital experiences from concept through final execution.
Concept, storyboard, shoot, and edit lo-fi content for organic social, paid media, ecommerce, TikTok Shop, and other emerging platforms.
Create short-form video assets including Reels, product storytelling, UGC-style content, photography, and other platform-native deliverables.
Work hands-on using an iPhone, basic lighting, and the internal photo studio to produce polished, relevant content quickly.
Turn briefs, trends, and business needs into simple, compelling content ideas that feel authentic to both brand and platform.
Partner with Social, Marketing, Online, and other creative teams to develop content that holds together cohesively across channels.
Stay close to beauty, fashion, design, social culture, ecommerce, and emerging content trends, with knowledge of how consumers discover and shop beauty across platforms (TikTok Shop and social commerce preferred).
Explore AI and emerging creative tools to improve ideation, content creation, design, and workflow efficiency.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines independently while staying flexible, responsive, and collaborative.
Present concepts and design work clearly, take direction thoughtfully, and contribute constructively to creative critique.

What you’ll bring

Exceptional creative taste with a portfolio showing strong graphic design, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
5+ years of design experience in beauty, fashion, luxury, agency, retail, or another design-driven industry.
Strong hands-on design skills across digital, ecommerce, social, CRM, and campaign work.
Ability to both originate concepts and execute within established brand guidelines and design systems.
Exceptional typography skills and a high attention to detail.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate design thinking.
Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Mood boards, storyboards, shoot concepts, or photo/video creative decks experience is a plus; on-set art direction experience is welcome but not required.
Motion, video editing, photography, lo-fi content creation, and AI-assisted creative experience are a plus.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills for juggling multiple deadlines.
Curious, collaborative mindset with positive, low-ego energy and a drive to learn.
Passion for beauty, design, culture, and delivering exceptional work at every scale.
