Salary range: USD 94,000 - 193,000 per yearly

What You’ll Own
Design outcomes within a defined area of the FanDuel Sportsbook product. You will frame problems, prototype solutions, support implementation, and iterate post-launch. The level of responsibility is calibrated to match the scope and craft excellence demonstrated during the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
- Own delivery of design outcomes from problem framing through prototyping, implementation support, launch, and post-launch iteration for your product area.
- Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, interaction details, and implementation documentation.
- Explore multiple directions and recommend approaches using evidence, customer insight, trade-offs, and product impact.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system by identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and designing scalable components or patterns when appropriate.
- Represent the voice of the customer through research, user feedback, analytics, and competitive analysis.
- Lead discovery and experimentation, including usability testing, A/B tests, and design explorations, to de-risk initiatives and refine solutions.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and validate hypotheses.
- Define clear product direction and success metrics, connecting design work to team and business priorities.
- Track and report design impact and outcomes objectively, and recommend pivots supported by evidence.
- Partner proactively with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Analytics, and other design disciplines to define goals, evaluate trade-offs, and align on direction.
- Facilitate workshops, design critiques, and stakeholder conversations to drive clarity and alignment.
- Build and maintain domain expertise on the product, market, and competitive landscape.
- Apply AI-assisted workflows thoughtfully across discovery, ideation, prototyping, synthesis, and documentation, and independently evaluate outputs for accuracy, usability, accessibility, design-system fit, and product relevance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
Design Level Expectations
As a Product Designer: Deliver end-to-end design by translating strategy into thoughtful solutions and driving delivery across related capabilities. Make strong prioritization decisions, keep work moving with clarity, apply craft judgment, and demonstrate impact through the quality and momentum of what ships.

Stay close to delivery while setting direction for a meaningful portion of the Sportsbook experience, clarifying ambiguous problems, connecting team work to business outcomes, and mentoring designers to raise team execution and operating standards.
As a Lead Product Designer: Shift from tactical excellence to strategic impact and cross-team leadership. Set direction across multiple areas of the customer experience, own a broad slice of the Sportsbook product, and be accountable for outcomes beyond direct hands-on work. Improve design practices, influence product strategy, and help teams consistently deliver high-quality customer experiences.
