- Produce detailed, production-ready UI specifications that communicate design intent to software development teams.
- Create and manage design assets, component libraries, naming conventions, documentation, and version-controlled design deliverables.
- Support next-generation Mako applications through workflow analysis, concept exploration, prototyping, and iterative design.
- Collaborate with UX researchers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to incorporate user feedback, clinical insights, and usability considerations.
- Participate in design reviews, usability evaluations, and voice-of-customer activities to improve overall user experience.
- Balance user needs, technical feasibility, design consistency, and product requirements throughout development.
- Partner closely with software engineers, scrum teams, product owners, systems engineers, and designers to support successful implementation.
- Collaborate with design teams across Mako’s hip, knee, and shoulder applications to maintain consistency within shared software platforms and design systems.
- Independently manage assigned design activities, proactively resolve challenges, and drive deliverables from concept through implementation.
- Communicate design decisions, technical specifications, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
