Job Description

Okta is seeking a Creative Director, Demand Gen to establish and lead its first dedicated demand-gen creative function, owning end-to-end integrated campaign creative across three major campaigns to move prospects through the funnel and drive pipeline. The position offers a salary range of USD 219,000 to 301,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Establish and scale the demand-gen creative function, defining team structure, operating model, and clear partnership standards with Global Campaigns and Field Marketing
Lead a small team of two designers and one copywriter, focusing on individual development and building a cohesive unit that delivers integrated campaigns
Own the creative strategy for three principal demand-gen campaigns, translating the Global Campaigns framework into an integrated creative plan and execution
Craft cohesive campaign creative where every asset reinforces a single idea and drives conversions
Leverage performance data across channels and formats to identify effective approaches, refining the creative strategy based on market feedback
Collaborate with Global Campaigns to set clear roles, briefing standards, and a steady rhythm so creative informs campaign planning from the outset
Coordinate with the Creative Directors for Brand & Experiences and Digital, and the Director of Brand Strategy to ensure unified, coherent creative across the organization
Oversee timelines and production to deliver high-volume work on schedule without compromising quality

Requirements

Senior creative leader with experience directing demand-gen, performance, or conversion-focused campaigns, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment, and a clear understanding of how demand-gen creative differs from brand or awareness work
Proven track record building or scaling a creative function from the ground up, including hiring, developing, retaining designers and copywriters, and establishing processes, standards, and partnership models with new teams
Portfolio demonstrating integrated campaign thinking, showing how multiple asset types are connected into one creative system and iterated based on performance
Experience owning creative strategy and partnering with marketing operations and campaign teams as a creative leader, co-concepting campaigns rather than simply executing briefs
Demonstrated ability to lead a creative team while staying hands-on, comfortable both conceptualizing and executing work alongside the team
Experience applying brand systems in performance and conversion contexts
