Job Description

NEIS Collective is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join its on-site team in Evans City, Pennsylvania. This full-time role focuses on creating precise CAD drawings for education, laboratory, and healthcare interiors while collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors. The position offers an hourly wage of $24.00 to $28.00.

Responsibilities

Create accurate CAD drawings that support project execution from concept to completion
Review architectural plans, specifications, and materials to prepare project submittals
Partner with Project Managers to ensure drawings align with project scope and requirements
Revise and update drawings based on feedback from PMs and architects
Identify discrepancies between estimates, specifications, and drawings
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to resolve design challenges
Maintain organized drawing standards, documentation, and vendor resources
Continuously look for ways to improve drafting processes and efficiency
Ensure all drawings meet quality standards with minimal errors or omissions

Requirements

Associate degree (or higher), relevant experience, or a combination of both
Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Solid problem-solving and organizational skills
Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
