Job Description

Delta State University, onsite in Cleveland, MS, seeks a part-time Graphic Design and Creative Services Manager within Communications and Marketing to blend design, content creation, and digital storytelling in support of branding, recruitment, and campus storytelling.

Responsibilities

Create print and digital marketing collateral such as brochures, ads, publications, event assets, presentations, signage, and promotional pieces.
Produce engaging creative assets for social media, websites, email campaigns, and digital programs while upholding university brand standards.
Assist in overseeing the university's official social media channels.
Build and maintain a strategic content calendar; generate engaging content across graphics, photography, video, reels, and copy.
Collaborate with the campus photographer to shoot and edit photography and video highlighting campus life, academics, athletics, alumni, and events.
Partner with student creators and campus departments to identify and tell impactful university stories.
Support marketing campaigns, recruitment initiatives, and special events through design and digital communications.
Perform additional duties as required to support the Office of Marketing and Communications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
Two years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, social media management, or a related field
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or other professional graphic design software)
Experience designing print and digital marketing materials that align with established brand standards
Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms with experience creating engaging content
Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail and timely delivery
