UI/UX Designer

This remote UI/UX Designer role at MANTECH offers the opportunity to support the Sponsor’s system accreditation, create BOE documentation, respond to and document controls, and complete required tasks. You will influence user experiences across the TAK Product Center core development efforts and collaborate with management and internal teams to ensure design work aligns with mission needs, while remaining responsive to evolving user requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead user-centered design across product teams by overseeing both visual design and interaction design.
• Develop engaging content and interfaces to support TAK Product Center core development.
• Produce technical documentation and wire diagrams to translate user requirements into actionable technical guidelines.
• Collaborate with management and internal teams to navigate the Sponsor’s accreditation process for all design related system components.
• Respond promptly to user requirements and frequent change requests.
• Facilitate regular meetings and interviews with users and stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission needs.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders to deliver complete systems that meet modern design and user experience standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Information Systems Security or Digital Design.
• Extensive knowledge of modern design standards, user experience principles, and graphic arts.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and professional wire diagramming tools.
• Proven ability to translate complex user requirements into technical guidelines and structured documentation.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating technical documentation, particularly regarding user interface architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
• Experience with the Sponsor’s primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.

Clearance Requirements

• Active Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.

Physical Requirements

• You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• You will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
• This role requires frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers.
• You must be able to exchange accurate information in all professional situations.
