Responsibilities

• Lead creative efforts autonomously across fast paced workflows to produce high quality marketing assets, balancing business needs with technical and creative constraints
• Interpret strategic briefs, propose motion and design approaches aligned with business goals, iterate with stakeholder feedback, and finalize assets
• Present work, rationale, and feedback clearly to senior leadership and Marketing as well as other Bill.com teams, explain changing priorities, and propose efficient solutions; ask clarifying questions and translate feedback for the team
• Keep current on best practices related to common workstreams and touchpoints; share information from regular stakeholders and partners
• Anticipate bottlenecks, raise potential issues early, propose solutions, and provide regular project status updates to Project Managers
• Foster cross-functional relationships to understand collaboration needs and roadmaps; identify conflicts and lead resolution discussions, incorporating learnings into processes
• Elevate personal and team creative output, iterating approaches to raise the overall creative bar and building tools to improve the team’s body of work
• Actively manage personal career development, set quarterly goals, seek feedback on performance and promotions, and pursue stretch opportunities

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven impact in motion design, translating complex ideas into compelling visual narratives
• Deep understanding of core motion design principles, editing, compositing, UI/UX, and strong design fundamentals: form, color, composition, layout, and typography
• Mastery of craft with Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premier Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, and Lottie; 3D proficiency (Cinema 4D / Blender) and experience with creative AI workflows are a plus
