Sr. SharePoint Developer / Graphic Design Support

Build and improve SharePoint experiences while delivering graphic design and publishing support for an intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain internal and external SharePoint sites
• Improve visual design, layout, branding, and usability of SharePoint pages and published content
• Create and maintain visually compelling digital products that support information sharing and user engagement
• Provide graphic design, publishing, and media support across materials such as layouts, illustrations, charts, graphs, logos, infographics, and photos
• Create and edit visual content for strategic plans, leadership briefs, training materials, outreach products, and general information pages
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to improve organizational content, reports, briefs, dashboards, and other user-facing products
• Apply modern design principles to enhance readability, accessibility, consistency, and overall presentation across SharePoint-hosted content
• Support SharePoint branding, customization, and page design using front-end web technologies and platform-native capabilities
• Partner with stakeholders to standardize templates, page layouts, and visual identity across sites and publications
• Translate complex information into intuitive, visually effective content for a wide range of users

Requirements

• 10+ years of related SharePoint development experience
• At least 5 years of experience in analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications
• 3–5 years experience with SharePoint 2019 or SharePoint SE
• Experience creating and customizing SharePoint workflows in SharePoint Designer
• Experience creating customized InfoPath forms
• Hands-on experience building and supporting SharePoint capabilities including:
  • Sites and site collections
  • Master pages and templates
  • Web parts, content types, and policies
  • Lists and libraries
  • Workflows
  • Authentication, security groups, permissions, and customizations
• Familiarity with third-party SharePoint applications
• Experience with SharePoint templates, branding, customization, and web development, including HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, CAML, and JavaScript
• Strong SharePoint troubleshooting skills
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Strong user interaction, requirements gathering, and business analysis skills
• Understanding of SharePoint business intelligence capabilities
• Understanding of PKI infrastructure and certificates
• Experience with PowerShell SharePoint module and scripting
• Experience with SharePoint application architecture and information management
• Experience using SharePoint for document management and website publishing
• Experience in graphic design, visual communications, page layout, branding, and publication support
• Experience creating infographics, charts, dashboards, and other visual products for executive or organizational audiences
• Ability to balance technical SharePoint development with business-facing design and publishing requirements
• Microsoft certifications preferred
• BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience supporting SharePoint branding, page design, and user experience improvement
• Demonstrated experience in graphic design, infographic creation, and visual content development
• Experience partnering with leadership, content owners, and technical teams to create polished, mission-focused digital products
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple taskings and stakeholder needs
• U.S. Citizenship Required

Salary

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $127,650 (yearly).
