Job Description

Herbalife is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape mobile-first digital experiences across a diverse product portfolio. This hybrid role in Torrance, CA focuses on accessible, intuitive UX and UI design from early discovery through implementation and iteration. You will partner with Product and Engineering, use Figma and Figma Make, and leverage AI-assisted design tools to explore concepts quickly while keeping strong design judgment and visual craft.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end UX and UI design for product features and experiences across the digital product portfolio.
  • Translate user needs, business objectives, and research insights into intuitive user journeys, workflows, and interfaces.
  • Design mobile-first and responsive experiences that work effectively across devices and platforms.
  • Use AI-assisted design tools to generate alternatives, accelerate iteration, and support concept exploration while maintaining design quality.
  • Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and Figma Make to communicate interaction behavior and support usability testing.
  • Design complete user journeys, including interface states, error handling, and recovery paths.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Research partners to define problems, evaluate solutions, and support implementation.
  • Apply and extend established design system components and patterns to deliver consistent experiences across products.
  • Produce implementation-ready design artifacts, including high-fidelity designs and detailed interaction specifications.
  • Participate in usability testing and refine designs based on research findings, product insights, and user feedback.
  • Incorporate accessibility and localization considerations throughout the design process.
  • Review and refine AI-generated outputs for usability, consistency, accessibility, and feasibility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product design.
  • Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills.
  • Experience owning major product features or a product domain from problem definition through implementation and iteration.
  • Ability to adapt your design approach across different products, user groups, and business contexts.
  • Experience designing mobile-first and responsive products, including complex workflows and end-to-end user journeys.
  • Strong command of Figma and Figma Make, including interactive prototyping and component-based design using design systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools for exploration, prototype creation, and iteration.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs rather than treating them as finished solutions.
  • Experience using research, usability testing, and product insights to inform design decisions.
  • Understanding of accessibility principles and designing for global audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including explaining design decisions and partnering effectively with Product and Engineering.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and navigate ambiguity.
