Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director

Chauffeur Driven is seeking a senior-level graphic designer and art director to support its publishing and events work from an in-person setup in Marlton, NJ. In this role, you’ll oversee the magazine’s editorial design and layout, then extend that content through the website and weekly email production to keep announcements and client communications consistent and on schedule.

You’ll be working across design and production workflows, using Adobe tools to build print layouts and adapt assets for digital delivery, including website updates through Joomla and newsletter publishing through EMS.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly magazine production, including editorial design and article layout using stock photography and templated type treatments in Adobe InDesign.
• Use Adobe Photoshop to adjust photography for cover and profile articles each month.
• Update the accompanying website with new articles and photos using CSS stylesheets in Joomla (CMS).
• Produce a weekly templated e-newsletter by adding photography and logos to industry-related online articles, rotating/updating client banner ads, and updating provided third-party links.
• Upload newsletter content to EMS (email marketing software), then process, test with staff, and prepare for sending.
• If HTML is provided, upload and process it through EMS for client email blasts.
• If flat image art is provided, slice and adapt it using HTML templates, then upload and process it through EMS.
• Test and send emails to clients for approval before scheduling.

Required experience and skills

• 5+ years of experience managing similar-level design and production work.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe PDF, and Illustrator.
• Ability to manage monthly and weekly schedules for magazine release, email production, and digital asset delivery.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaborate in a team.

Compensation and benefits
