Product Designer II - Uber Eats, Offers Consumer Experiences
Job Description
Uber’s Ads & Offers organization is building consumer experiences that make it easier to discover and use promotions across Uber Eats. In this Product Designer II role on the Offers team, you will reimagine offers end-to-end, working through discovery, design, and delivery to improve outcomes for both users and merchants.
Based in New York, NY (onsite), you will collaborate closely with product, engineering, operations, and UX research as you develop solutions that balance affordability and user needs.
What you’ll do
- Own design problems from initial concept through shipping and beyond.
- Create wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes to solve complex UX challenges.
- Design systems that enable simple, elegant experiences at scale.
- Work with product to define requirements, not only translate them into design.
- Spot future opportunities and act as a thought partner with product, engineering, and operations.
- Partner with the UX research team to better understand customer needs.
What you bring
- 3+ years of product design experience.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work and strong problem-solving ability.
Preferred qualifications
- Consumer mobile design experience (plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, requirements, and deliverables independently.
- Experience working on consumer-facing marketplaces or commerce.
- Experience working on a global product.
- Experience creating highly accessible products.
- Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes.
Compensation and eligibility
- Base salary range: USD 153,000 - 170,000 per year.
- Eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program.
- May be offered an equity award and other types of compensation.
- Eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.

Work location
Unless approved for full remote work, employees must spend at least 50% of their time in-office. Some roles, such as those at greenlight hubs, require full-time in-office presence. Ask your Recruiter for the specific requirements for this role.
