NBCUniversal is hiring a Product Designer to shape intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile products.

Own the end-to-end design workflow, from discovery through final implementation.
Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, and stakeholders to define product requirements and user experiences.
Produce UX and UI artifacts including user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
Design responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Build and maintain design systems, component libraries, and reusable interaction patterns.
Run competitive analysis and incorporate user research and usability findings into design decisions.
Create interactive prototypes to communicate concepts and validate solutions.
Work within the company’s design system and contribute to consistency and scalability.
Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with developers during implementation to help ensure design quality and accuracy.
Iterate using user feedback, analytics, experimentation, and business goals.
Stay current on product design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

3+ years of experience designing digital products for web and/or mobile.
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including:
- Auto Layout
- Components and Variants
- Variables
- Design Systems
- Interactive Prototyping
- Dev Mode and developer handoff
Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work and problem-solving skills.
Solid UX foundation: interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and visual design.
Experience creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes.
Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and present work to stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile product development teams.
Strong collaboration, organization, and time management skills.

Hybrid: requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Experience maintaining or contributing to a design system.
Experience conducting usability testing or working with UX research.
Familiarity with A/B testing and data-informed product decisions.
Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Plus: experience designing subscription, B2B, or content-driven digital products.

Delivers polished, user-centered designs that support customer and business needs.
Collaborates effectively across Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
Creates high-quality Figma files that are organized, scalable, and developer-friendly.
Improves product experiences using research, analytics, and user feedback.
Contributes to the evolution of the design system and overall design quality.
