Job Description

This onsite Product Designer role in Cupertino, CA focuses on crafting interfaces for internal tools used by Apple content experts to manage, modify, and publish services content. Collaborating with designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership, you will deliver high quality experiences within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Design elegant experiences for web and desktop interfaces used by internal teams.
  • Deliverables produced under tight deadlines with input from multiple cross functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration, maintain composure under pressure, solve problems, pay close attention to detail, and adapt to rapid change.
  • Uphold Apple’s high standards and design aesthetic at the core of every solution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of design experience with a focus on Web, iOS, and macOS interfaces.
  • Experience designing all aspects of large scale content management systems including content creation, editing, localizing, and publishing.
  • Portfolio showcasing excellence in interaction design, visual design, and problem solving.
  • Excellent ability to communicate ideas to designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership through storytelling, visuals, and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency communicating concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high fidelity comps, and prototypes using Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Keynote, and similar tools.
  • Experience documenting interaction details, visual design specifications, and QA of the implemented product.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and change during a project.
  • Passion for Apple, its products, and its customers.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is USD 184,700 to 324,800 per year. Base pay is one component of the total compensation package and is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

In addition to base pay, Apple offers discretionary bonuses or commission payments, relocation assistance, and access to stock programs as part of the total compensation package.
