Overview

Join the creative Student Affairs Communications and Marketing team as a Graphic Design Intern to help visually communicate the impact and importance of our programs and services. You will collaborate with professional staff to develop dynamic visuals that bring our messaging to life, resonating with students and supporting campus engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing print and digital assets for a variety of uses for all Student Affairs units and programs.
  • Collaborate with professional design staff to develop visual concepts and campaigns for University-wide impact.
  • Contribute ideas clearly and actively while accepting feedback and guidance constructively.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Familiarity with the Penn State brand standards and comfort with implementing both University and division brand elements into work in a creative and acceptable way.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
