Part Time Graphic Design Consultant

Huxley & Kent is seeking a part‑time Graphic Design Consultant in Knoxville, TN. This flexible, contract‑based role offers hybrid work options, with an hourly rate of $25 to $45. You will contribute from concept through production on marketing materials, while enjoying the independence of a small, entrepreneurial team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of new accessories, apparel, and gift products
• Provide support to the head designer and marketing manager
• Develop product concepts from initial design through production
• Lead graphic design projects for brochures, catalogs, signage, sales decks, and marketing collateral
• Prepare production‑ready artwork and specifications for factories, including pattern scale and color standards
• Create PDF and PowerPoint product presentations and concepts
• Review product samples and suggest improvements
• Conduct product photography for brochures and catalogs
• Maintain a searchable digital library of samples and tech packs

Requirements

• Experience in consumer product design and development
• Graphic design proficiency
• Ability to prepare production‑ready artwork and specifications
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, entrepreneurial team
