Job Description

Innovative Systems offers a full-time, onsite role in Willmar, MN where you can combine design work with hands-on production and client-focused marketing. You will support production printing by preparing art files, maintaining print quality through established procedures, and assisting with printing and bindery operations, all while following quality control and postal regulations. The position also includes opportunities to help grow business with current clients through marketing plan development and report review.

Pay: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
Schedule: 40.0 hours per week (full-time)
Work mode: In person, onsite in Willmar, MN (56201)

Responsibilities

  • Use Adobe Creative Suite, Corel, and MS Office to design and fix art files for a production printing environment
  • Develop and grow marketing plans for clients
  • Assist with working and decision-making to expand business with current clients
  • Review reports to ensure job accuracy
  • Handle basic computer and printer tasks to print jobs and respond appropriately to issues
  • Follow and maintain quality control procedures
  • Follow calibrating procedures to maintain print quality
  • Load and remove paper from printers
  • Review printed materials for errors or blemishes
  • Run basic bindery equipment such as folders and cutters
  • Assist and/or run inserting and large bindery equipment
  • Learn and follow postal regulations

Requirements

  • Associate (required)
  • English (required)
  • Willmar, MN 56201 (required)
  • Passion for serving customers
  • Ability to take on a variety of tasks across software and hardware
  • Multitasking and working under pressured deadlines will not be uncommon

Preferred Experience

  • Design or print: 3 years (preferred)
  • Bindery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Marketing: 2 years (preferred)
