Job Description
On-site, part-time opportunity in Albuquerque, NM with the University of New Mexico Bookstores. This role pays $15 per hour and supports marketing initiatives by creating artwork for print and digital media while managing in-house print production under the supervision of the Sr. Marketing Representative. A student position, it offers hands-on design experience within a collaborative marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and produce visuals for both print and digital channels, including flyers, advertisements, brochures, posters, signage, and web or social graphics, while upholding brand standards and aligning with current campaigns.
- Oversee the in-house print production workflow, preparing files for print (formatting and sizing checks, quality assurance), operating printing equipment, and ensuring materials are produced accurately and efficiently.

Position Summary
The UNM Bookstores seek a proactive and creative student to contribute to their marketing efforts. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Representative, the Marketing Assistant will help develop artwork for print and digital media and manage in-house print production as part of the marketing team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in a degree-seeking program at UNM, maintaining at least half-time status (6 hours) during fall and spring semesters; Work Study participants must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience designing for both digital and print platforms.
- Familiarity with operating in-house printing equipment or willingness to learn.
- Portfolio demonstrating design work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
- Availability up to 20 hours per week during regular business hours.
