Job Description
The Manager, Graphic Design leads the development and execution of creative concepts across print and digital channels for the LA Kings. This onsite role in El Segundo, CA, collaborates closely with sales and marketing to deliver assets, digital content, and website experiences from concept through final delivery.
Compensation
USD 85,359 - 100,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal designers and external agencies to ideate, develop, and deliver creative across digital, social, web, and print channels. Produce original assets from provided materials or generate concepts from scratch to support LA Kings business initiatives.
- Create and produce a diverse set of marketing materials, including digital ads, social graphics, email campaigns, websites and landing pages, banners, ticketing collateral, guidebooks, posters, and other branded assets. Work cross-functionally with multiple departments to ensure creative needs are met accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives.
- Lead and mentor graphic designers, freelancers, and external creative partners. Review work and provide feedback to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to project specifications while maintaining deadlines.
- Serve as a key liaison between sales, marketing, digital and creative teams to develop integrated social, web, and email campaigns that drive audience engagement, brand awareness, and incremental traffic to LA Kings digital platforms.
- Oversee creative intake, project prioritization, timelines, and resource allocation across departments to ensure efficient workflows, high quality on-brand execution, and on-time delivery of all creative initiatives.
- Establish and manage creative workflows that effectively prioritize incoming requests across departments. Collaborate with the Project Manager to implement and maintain systems that enhance collaboration, visibility, and operational efficiency within the creative team.
Requirements
- Strong project management experience with familiarity using tools such as Airtable or Asana.
- Solid knowledge of social media best practices and current trends.
- Independent self-starter with a demonstrated ability to research and develop new ideas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn required business systems.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools, such as Emplifi, is preferred.
- Experience in the sports industry is preferred.
