Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary graphic arts design resource for the assigned account, producing internal materials using client approved brand templates and original concepts aligned to brand guidelines.
  • Represent Canon at client and company events.
  • Manage multiple design projects of varying complexity while following client directions.
  • Work with the Client Service Manager/Operations Manager and oversee the design queue, delivering all assigned orders within specified turnaround times.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery across all creative projects while understanding design, approval, and production processes.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop design criteria and deployment schedules for finished work.
  • Maintain Canon's standard of quality and customer service.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by using consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet requirements.
  • Adhere to client brand guidelines.
  • Design, test, and maintain the client-facing print job submission application (Digital StoreFront).
  • Receive and inspect finished materials, perform quality assurance checks, and approve distribution to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of EFI Digital StoreFront
  • Advanced working knowledge of Illustrator
  • Advanced working knowledge of InDesign
  • Advanced working knowledge of Photoshop
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the print industry and production process
  • Ability to follow strict brand and industry guidelines
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Self-motivated, organized, and accountable
