Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary graphic arts design resource for the assigned account, producing internal materials using client approved brand templates and original concepts aligned to brand guidelines.
- Represent Canon at client and company events.
- Manage multiple design projects of varying complexity while following client directions.
- Work with the Client Service Manager/Operations Manager and oversee the design queue, delivering all assigned orders within specified turnaround times.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery across all creative projects while understanding design, approval, and production processes.
- Collaborate with customers to develop design criteria and deployment schedules for finished work.
- Maintain Canon's standard of quality and customer service.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience by using consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet requirements.
- Adhere to client brand guidelines.
- Design, test, and maintain the client-facing print job submission application (Digital StoreFront).
- Receive and inspect finished materials, perform quality assurance checks, and approve distribution to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- Advanced working knowledge of EFI Digital StoreFront
- Advanced working knowledge of Illustrator
- Advanced working knowledge of InDesign
- Advanced working knowledge of Photoshop
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the print industry and production process
- Ability to follow strict brand and industry guidelines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
