Graphic Design Associate
Job Description
Support the Marketing Department with graphic design and production work for a range of customer-facing and internal needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Art Director, Senior Graphic Designer, and Graphic Design Associate on marketing-led projects
- Conceptualize and create artwork for marketing materials, advertising, brand packaging, trade shows, digital platforms, and internal company support
- Coordinate and prep projects for distribution through outside publications and vendors
- Participate in brainstorming marketing and advertising concepts
- Complete administrative basics and daily desk tasks that support ongoing design projects
- Interface with multiple departments to keep projects moving
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Support additional job duties as assigned by management; responsibilities are subject to change
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of graphic design experience
- Strong computer skills in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Working knowledge of Excel (data merge from Excel to InDesign) and Word
- Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, agency-like environment
- Exceptional understanding of design fundamentals including composition, layout, color, and typography
- Experience with multiple printing platforms and printing techniques
- Web experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to handle stress in a high-volume office
- Team-oriented working style
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Plans and organizes work to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
- Communicates with courtesy and professionalism
