Job Description
Advanced Embroidery and Screenprinting is hiring an Art & Prepress Specialist to convert customer-submitted artwork into production-ready files for screen printing and embroidery. The role also supports customer-facing proofing for ASI and promotional product orders, helping keep revisions moving through the production queue.
Role Overview
You will receive artwork from customers in varying formats and quality levels, evaluate it, and prepare files suitable for production. This includes creating and delivering proofs for screen printing, embroidery, and ASI/promotional product orders, as well as verifying that final files align with press and embroidery capabilities.

Compensation
USD 20 - 23 per hour
Responsibilities
- Receive and review customer artwork in all submitted formats, assessing quality and readiness for production
- Vectorize, clean up, and perform color separation for screen printing
- Size and format artwork accurately for different garments, print locations, and decoration methods
- Create and send customer-facing proofs for screen printing, embroidery, and ASI/promotional product orders
- Proof marketing materials as needed, including web and social graphics
- Track proof approvals and revisions to prevent bottlenecks and keep jobs on schedule
- Identify and correct errors before files reach press or embroidery machines, including colors, placement, spelling, and sizing
- Coordinate with press and embroidery machine operators so art files match job specifications and production limits
- Maintain an organized digital art file library and archive for repeat customers and reorders
- Communicate directly with customers or account representatives regarding revisions and approvals
- Convert customer requests or unclear concepts into production-ready designs when required
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (required)
- Knowledge of color separation, including spot color versus process printing, and screen printing production needs
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple jobs and deadlines at the same time
- Good communication skills for proofing discussions with customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
