Creative Marketing Associate (Graphic Design, Photography & Content Creation)

This full time, on site role in DeLand offers a meaningful opportunity to shape marketing, photography, and content that resonates with families and members. Salary is competitive for the role and location, with a range of $38,000 to $40,000 per year. This position is based on site in DeLand, FL and includes career growth opportunities within a values oriented organization.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging graphics for print and digital use, including flyers, program guides, social media, email campaigns, and signage
• Capture and edit photographs for programs, events, and community initiatives
• Develop and manage content for social channels that reflects the YMCA mission and values
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote memberships, programs, and events
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all materials
• Collaborate with program directors and staff to highlight member experiences and success stories
• Help manage content calendars and schedule posts across platforms
• Monitor engagement and performance metrics to refine outreach efforts
• Ensure all content is inclusive, family friendly, and community focused
• Participate in Association events and contribute to marketing needs while engaging with the community to support branches, events, and programs

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1 to 3 years of experience in graphic design, photography, or content creation
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva or similar tools
• Experience with photography and photo editing
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for community engagement and alignment with the YMCA mission
