Creative Director, Creative Development (Copy)

Dentsu Creative is hiring a Temporary Creative Director, Creative Development (Copy) based in New York, NY with a hybrid (location-dependent) or remote setup. This role supports a retail client through ASAP to 3/31/2027, with an emphasis on developing breakthrough creative for the sports industry.

In this position, you will lead integrated communications and creative development, working alongside the creative department to shape original concepts and guide them into work designed to earn coverage. The role includes regular collaboration with senior clients and leadership, plus coordination to ensure the right creative resources are applied to the right projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver integrated communications solutions, creative platforms, and execution
• Collaborate with the creative department to develop differentiating and original creative concepts, including award-winning work built for media coverage
• Coordinate with resource and project managers to ensure the best creative resource is allocated to the correct projects
• Own delivery of the client’s brand vision
• Champion the creative process and output

Requirements

• Willingness to work EST Hours
• 10+ years of experience in an agency setting
• Award-winning creative background, including experience creating breakthrough campaigns for major sports brands, leagues, and properties
• Proven ability to collaborate and work creatively with senior clients and leadership
• Strong presentation skills
• Highly organized and professional approach to delivery
• Ability to create fully integrated campaigns in the sports industry
• Relentless passion for ideas that resonate in culture
• Portfolio demonstrating award-winning campaigns for major brands and iconic sports properties

Compensation

USD 184,747 - 220,911 per year (temporary role).
