Art Director, CX
Job Description
Meta’s Creative X team brings brand expression to life across channels, pairing strategic thinking with high craft. As an Art Director for CX in Menlo Park, CA (onsite), you’ll direct and conceptualize work across multiple mediums, help build alignment with a cross-functional team, and bring breakthrough ideas to reality through strong comps and prototypes. The role also includes opportunities to explore emerging technologies, including AI skills and responsible AI practices.
Compensation: USD 98,000 - 144,000 per yearly. Experience: 4+ years.
Responsibilities
- Direct, design, and conceptualize brand expressions across a range of mediums, including mobile, product, film, interactive, OOH, print, events, and experiential work
- Apply art direction and design concepts to tell brand and product stories through coherent visual narratives
- Present ideas clearly and concisely to build consensus within a team
- Collaborate in a cross-functional environment to move concepts forward
- Create original, breakthrough work
Requirements
- 4+ years of agency or in-house experience developing concepts and art directing for brand and product campaigns
- Ability to design, art direct, and articulate conceptual design decisions
- Experience bringing ideas to life with high-quality comps and prototypes using creative software and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, and Keynote (and similar tools)
- History of self-initiated projects
- Detail-focused approach with an eye for visual craft
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience pursuing emerging technologies
- Experience in fashion or tech marketing
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (for example: prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience creating content and campaigns on emerging platforms and formats
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (for example: efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices, such as risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews
