UI/UX Designer
Job Description
A UI/UX Designer onsite in Orlando, FL supports Agile software development teams by translating capabilities into intuitive applications for end users.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements.
- Convey design concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Design graphical user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Develop page navigation controls and search fields.
- Create UI mockups and prototypes that demonstrate how the site functions and appears.
- Produce original graphic designs including images, sketches, and tables.
- Present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX issues such as responsiveness.
- Iterate layouts based on user feedback.
- Maintain adherence to style guidelines for fonts, colors, and images.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a related role, or relevant coursework.
- Current portfolio showcasing design projects for web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of wireframe tools such as Balsamiq, Wireframe.cc, and InVision.
- Proficiency with design software including Figma, Adobe xD, and Photoshop.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Good time-management abilities.
- BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field.
