Video Editor / Motion Designer

NOX METALS is looking for a Video Editor / Motion Designer to help transform raw footage and complex industrial concepts into clear, engaging stories. This onsite role in Los Angeles, CA supports brand films, customer stories, recruiting content, product explainers, and social deliverables, with platform-specific versions built for web, recruiting, sales, and social channels.

You will work from ingest through delivery, combining editing and motion design with end-to-end post-production responsibilities. The goal is to keep the core idea intact while improving pacing, clarity, and emotional rhythm across every revision.

What you’ll do

• Edit short- and long-form videos from selects through final delivery
• Design motion graphics, titles, diagrams, maps, and data visualizations to make technical ideas easy to understand
• Identify the strongest story from interviews, factory footage, and incomplete source material
• Collaborate with cinematography and marketing on treatments, coverage, and post plans
• Handle sound design, music selection, dialogue cleanup, color finishing, and captioning
• Create platform-specific versions for web, recruiting, sales, and social channels
• Maintain clean projects with organized proxies, asset libraries, versioning, and archival standards
• Use feedback effectively and protect the central idea through revisions
• Help define templates and systems that increase output without making the work feel generic
• Own projects end-to-end, from ingest through delivery

Compensation and benefits

• Salary: USD 60,000 - 110,000 per year

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools
• Experience with 3D, compositing, sound mixing, or color grading
• Background in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, or documentary storytelling
• Experience designing systems for high-volume social production
• Comfort using AI tools responsibly for transcription, search, cleanup, and workflow automation
