Job Description

Lead end-to-end ecommerce and editorial photography from concept through post-production while helping evolve the brand’s visual and styling standards.

Responsibilities

  • Direct on-set execution of on-figure selling shots aligned to the styling point of view and shot type standards.
  • Drive creative elevation while maintaining productivity within budget limits.
  • Manage adherence to production timelines while contributing process ideas to improve efficiency and image quality.
  • Collaborate with team and cross-functional partners to evolve the styling point of view and keep styling direction and the styling closet current.
  • Participate in weekly imagery reviews with the team.
  • Research and help identify talent for ecommerce photoshoots, including photographers, stylists, and models.
  • Take projects from concept through final execution, including post-production review.
  • Present conceptual direction, model casting, and location or studio direction to creative leadership for approval.
  • Lead creative execution of on-model photography across campaign, lifestyle, editorial, social, e-commerce, and promotional content.
  • Direct photography shoots end to end, including lighting, composition, talent direction, posing, and narrowing the image selection.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across styling and photography processes; establish and communicate best practices for creative quality, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead post-production activities: image selection, retouching, photo editing, video editing, and final asset review to meet brand, quality, and performance expectations.
  • Partner closely with Photo Producers and stakeholders to optimize resources, control production costs, and deliver within established budget parameters.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Creative teams to support launches, hero campaigns, retail initiatives, influencer collaborations, brand events, and tentpole marketing moments.
  • Ensure imagery highlights product performance, supports brand storytelling, and supports consumer engagement opportunities.
  • Work with Creative Leadership, Producers, Production, Design, Social, and Video teams to deliver integrated creative execution across formats and platforms.
  • Partner with the Global Marketing team to support global market needs while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity through photography, aligned to values, aesthetic, and consumer positioning across social media, e-commerce, retail, PR, paid media, influencer content, and marketing materials.
  • Champion innovation in photography techniques, technologies, and creative processes to elevate brand storytelling and consumer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university
  • 5+ years direct experience
  • Proven experience developing and executing photography for large-scale campaigns, product launches, brand marketing initiatives, and social-first content
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating on-model photography, beauty imagery, portraiture, and visual storytelling
  • Experience collaborating with senior creative and marketing leadership on integrated campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Deep expertise in lighting, composition, color theory, retouching direction, and photographic production workflows
  • Experience leveraging AI-enhanced creative and retouching tools to improve production efficiencies and asset refinement while maintaining integrity of model imagery and authentic product representation, supporting responsible visual storytelling that builds consumer trust
  • Exceptional creative judgment to balance brand consistency and innovation
  • Proficiency with industry-standard photography equipment, capture software, Adobe Creative Suite, and asset management workflows
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously
  • Portfolio and social media handles required for consideration

Location: Long Island City, NY (onsite)

Salary: USD 108,120 - 180,360 per year

Experience: 5+ years
