Product Designer
Job Description
Join a hands-on Product Design role in Atlanta focused on developing new designs, colors, and products while supporting the Creation Lab and production sign-off.
Responsibilities
- Develop new designs, colors, products, and images
- Own Creation Lab operations: organization, color adjustments (transfer from printer to lab sample), and archiving while maintaining established standards and color patches
- Create and improve workflows and processes in consultation with the Chief Designer in Europe
- Work in AVA software and support printing on printer color pallets
- Approve final color and design in the lab and for first-time production (start-up)
- Build and maintain relationships with sales and clients, including follow-up communication and adherence to delivery terms
- Report on meetings
- Maintain current knowledge of consumer market trends and ideas (colors, internet, seminars, fairs, magazines)
- Learn about new products and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design, fashion, or closely related field
- Knowledge of AVA software and experience working with a Roland printer is preferred
- Strong eye for design and color, with high creativity
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to communicate effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to travel as needed (trade shows, fairs), mostly within the US, with intercontinental travel possible
