Job Description

A mid-level Freelance Motion Designer role at Hush Studios in Brooklyn, onsite, with an 80/20 focus split between making/execution and learning/concepting, reporting to the Art Director and Design Director.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teammates, inspire peers, and actively pursue knowledge.
  • Work with design, production, and technology teams to meet project needs.
  • Build trusted relationships through clear communication and empathy.
  • Find inspiration and contribute to developing creative concepts with the broader team.
  • Help refine presentation decks and project details.
  • Seek and respond to design feedback with agility and a readiness to pivot.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of design experience in a fast-paced design agency or corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in design and related studies.
  • Proven organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with 2D and 3D design software, animation, and/or interface design abilities.

  • Semi-annual meetings to review progress against core responsibilities and personal/professional goals.
