Role Summary

This onsite, tenure-track faculty role supports the College’s instructional mission through teaching, curriculum development, and assessment within the graphic design and multimedia discipline. Faculty also participate in program evaluation, college activities, and committee service.

Responsibilities

• Instruct college students using educational theories and techniques related to graphic design and multimedia.
• Develop discipline-related curricula, assess student learning, and participate in program evaluation, college activities, and committee work.
• Maintain college and department standards aligned with the College mission and strategic plan.
• Teach a load of 45 points.
• Maintain office hours and support course and student needs during required college business hours.
• Support instructional needs across daytime, evenings, and weekend hours, as assignments are determined by enrollment, program requirements, and institutional needs.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned through college business hours, including committees, work teams, meetings, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Multimedia, plus demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
• Demonstrated Adobe Creative Cloud technology skills.
• Three years of work experience in graphic design, documented through a portfolio.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and on multiple campuses if needed.
• Teaching and occupational experience recognized.
• Ability to use required technology for assigned courses; coursework in the degree must reflect competencies needed for the courses taught.
• Demonstrate cultural competency to engage and work with a diverse student and employee population.

• Location: Lake Worth, FL (onsite)
• Salary: USD 50,000 per yearly (minimum base pay; offer may vary based on education and experience)
• Minimum experience: 3 years
