Job Description

The Central kidMinistry Creative Director helps LCBC Church strengthen every kidMinistry gathering across Locations through strong customer service, program support, resources, and creative oversight. Based onsite in Manheim, PA, this role coordinates creative direction and content development for weekend experiences, key initiatives, and the video elements that support them.

What you will do

  • Coordinate weekend gatherings to ensure excellence, including leading planning meetings to creatively develop experience elements that reinforce the message, games, atrium plus 1's, and the overall program.
  • Lead a team of campus staff and volunteers to create intentional, developmentally appropriate content for each age demographic served in kid ministry.
  • Stay current with culture trends to connect culture with the gospel, providing input and direction to content, environment, and program teams.
  • Storyboard, direct, script, and coordinate weekly videos and special element videos for the weekend experience and key initiatives.
  • Serve as the aesthetic and creative visionary for the kidMinistry series and other large key initiatives.

  • Be an LCBC Partner, or plan to become one within 60 days of employment, including regular attendance and participation before and/or upon employment.
  • Create strategy while reading trends of culture and kid ministry.
  • Bring strong oral and written communication skills, along with strong customer service skills.
  • Use strong organizational and time management skills to manage weekly and initiative timelines.
  • Lead with focus, collaboration, and growth mindset: working with urgency and intensity, bringing others into the work and seeking feedback, and planning for growth through personal, spiritual, and professional development.

Schedule and reporting

  • Reports to: Central Director of Next Gen
  • Hours commitment: 40-45 hours per week (Monday-Friday with some weekends)

How performance is evaluated

  • Meet regularly with the Central Director of Next Gen for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching.
  • Complete and review a formal Action and Development Plan three times throughout the year.
