Job Description

Tyson Foods is seeking a hands-on creative leadership professional to direct creative excellence across its brand portfolio. In this onsite role in Springdale, AR, you will set the creative bar and partner with strategy teams to turn briefs into distinct, effective campaigns across consumer touchpoints.

Role Overview

As the Creative Director - Marketing, you will define how Tyson Foods brands look, sound, and feel across channels. You will maintain brand consistency, influence key creative decisions, and ensure creative work aligns with strategy, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Define and champion a unified creative vision across the portfolio, setting expectations for craft, originality, and brand distinctiveness in every execution.
Ensure visual output remains consistent with brand standards, voice, and values across all touchpoints.
Partner with Brand Strategy leads to translate briefs into creative concepts, campaigns, and content across digital, email, web, social, shopper, and video.
Act as the final creative gatekeeper for major campaigns and launches, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and creative quality standards.
Present work and work-in-progress to senior leadership and cross-functional partners, translating business objectives into creative briefs.
Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, production houses, and freelancers, including negotiating contracts and managing deliverables.
Collaborate with brand strategy, digital, shopper marketing, social, and legal/regulatory teams to support strategic soundness, channel optimization, and compliance.
Stay current on creative, cultural, and platform trends, including social formats and AI-assisted production, and apply fresh thinking to a legacy portfolio.
Manage production budgets with a focus on efficiency while preserving quality.
Establish scalable creative workflows and review processes to help teams move quickly without compromising quality across a multi-brand portfolio.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
10+ years of experience in marketing or agency roles within the Food, Consumer Brand, or CPG industry.
Portfolio review demonstrating strong conceptual and craft work is highly preferred.
Proven experience leading and managing a marketing team.
Demonstrated ability partnering with brand/strategy leads to creatively bring positioning to life.
Agency management experience, including budget oversight and vendor evaluation.
Portfolio experience across multiple channels, including packaging, digital/social, video, and shopper/in-store.
Strong creative judgment paired with a strategic mindset.
Exceptional project management skills, including juggling multiple projects and priorities.
Comfort presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

An MBA is preferred.
