Responsibilities
- Design and develop user-centered display solutions that align with customer requirements.
- Use UI/UX engineering to create intuitive, safe, and effective display systems for the Aegis Combat System within the operational environment.
- Demonstrate and validate user interfaces through testing and evaluation.
- Prototype with Figma and integrate UI/UX methods throughout development.
- Travel up to 25% to collect customer feedback and incorporate findings into the iterative design process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering Human Machine Interaction (HMI), Human Factors Engineering (HFE), Human Systems Integration (HSI), or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related engineering role
- GUI design for optimal usability while considering back-end logic
- Experience with design and analysis tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and statistical analysis software (JMP, SPSS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
