Job Description

WSP USA is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Strategic Growth Team on site in Columbus, Ohio. This role centers on producing top‑tier visual communications for print and digital platforms, collaborating with technical experts, project teams, and marketing professionals to turn complex ideas into engaging visuals that support business development and client engagement. The position carries a salary range of USD 67,900 - 105,900 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver polished visual communications across print and digital channels, including proposals, presentations, marketing collateral, and web assets
  • Translate dense technical content into clear, compelling visual solutions using strong layout, typography, color, and storytelling
  • Develop graphics, infographics, and page layouts that align with brand standards and project goals
  • Manage multiple design assignments independently and with a team, balancing priorities across concurrent projects and deadlines
  • Support project execution by owning design tasks and, where appropriate, aspects of project coordination
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical staff, and cross‑functional teams to shape and refine design concepts
  • Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs to deliver high‑quality final products
  • Contribute to client‑facing efforts through presentations, pursuits, and marketing materials
  • Stay informed about current design trends, tools, and technologies and apply new approaches to improve outcomes
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all design outputs
  • Uphold ethics, safety, and professional conduct standards in all work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, digital design, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience designing for both print and digital platforms
  • Strong visual communication, layout, and typography skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
