Graphic Design and Brand Strategist

The Graphic Design and Brand Strategist role at Saint Francis Health System develops and executes visual branding strategies to strengthen the organization’s image and support its marketing and communications goals. The position crafts compelling graphic designs, maintains brand consistency, and partners with multiple departments to ensure the visual identity reflects Saint Francis Health System’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent application of the health system's visual identity across all materials and communication channels.
• Develop and uphold brand guidelines to ensure uniform usage of the visual identity.
• Create engaging graphic designs for print, digital, social media, and internal communications.
• Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Provide creative direction and feedback to team members and external vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in marketing, communications, and clinical teams to capture requirements and deliver creative solutions.
• Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for specialized design projects.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of branding efforts and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 5 years
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field
• Proficient in graphic design software
• Strong understanding of branding principles and visual communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving abilities with creative thinking
• Working knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulatory considerations
• Working knowledge of production and printing processes
